1. Nature of the service

GameVibe is a digital entertainment service that offers a questionnaire about gaming preferences (board and video games) and displays results and indicative game recommendations.

The service is not a psychometric, psychological, clinical, or professional assessment tool. Results are approximate, subjective, and for entertainment purposes. They do not replace your own judgment, expert reviews, or official age ratings.

2. Minimum age

You must be at least 13 years old to use GameVibe.

If the law in your jurisdiction requires a higher age or parental consent for online services, you may use the service only by meeting those requirements. The operator may restrict access if there are reasonable grounds to believe those requirements are not met.

3. Game age ratings (PEGI, ESRB, and others)

When GameVibe mentions age ratings (e.g. PEGI, ESRB, or others), it does so for informational and guidance purposes only.

Official ratings are issued by the competent body and territory. GameVibe does not guarantee their accuracy, currency, or applicability to your particular situation. Parents, guardians, and users are responsible for verifying whether each title is appropriate.

4. Intellectual property and trademarks

The names, logos, screenshots, and other elements of games mentioned are the property of their respective owners.

GameVibe is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by cited publishers, developers, or platforms unless expressly stated otherwise. Original GameVibe content (text, design, quiz logic) is protected under applicable law.

5. Recommendations without warranty

Game recommendations are generated from your answers and data available at the time of the query. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for you.

GameVibe does not guarantee that you will enjoy a recommended title, that it will meet your expectations, that it will be available in your region, on your platform, or at a given price, or that third-party information (stores, metadata) is correct.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," to the extent permitted by law.

6. Cryptocurrency donations

Donations are voluntary and do not unlock features or advantages in the quiz.

Send funds only to the networks explicitly indicated: Ethereum and Solana. Sending assets to another network or chain may result in irreversible loss of funds.

Verify the address and network before confirming any transaction. Blockchain operations are final; we cannot reverse them or recover mistaken transfers.

7. Shared links and user responsibility

If you generate or publish a result link, you are responsible for who you share it with and the consequences of making it accessible.

GameVibe does not control how links spread on third-party platforms (social networks, forums, messaging). A shared link may let others see your result while the link remains active.

Do not use the service to harass, defame, impersonate others, or violate third-party rights.

8. Local data and opt-in history

GameVibe stores progress and preferences in your browser and, if you choose, a results history on your device.

Saving history is optional and under your control. You are responsible for managing or deleting that data on shared or public devices.

Loss of local data due to browser cleanup, device change, or technical failure does not entitle you to compensation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GameVibe and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from use of or inability to use the service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. fraud or injury caused by gross negligence where the law prohibits exclusion).

You acknowledge that use of the service is at your own risk.

10. Operator identity

GameVibe is operated by the project owner, reachable at contact [at] game-vibe [dot] app and through the site game-vibe.app.

For general inquiries, support, or legal notices, use the same email address and indicate the reason for your message.

This address is not available for marketing outreach, SEO, collaboration, partnerships, or AI agents. Use it only for privacy, terms, and legal notices.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile.

Unless mandatory law in your country of residence provides otherwise, any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of GameVibe will be subject to the courts in Santiago, Chile.

Without prejudice to the foregoing, if you are a consumer and the law of your country grants you non-waivable rights (for example, Chile's Law No. 19,496, the GDPR in the European Economic Area, or other mandatory rules), you may exercise those rights and, where applicable, bring proceedings before the courts or authorities of your habitual place of residence. Nothing herein limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Privacy, cookies, and related documents

Processing of personal data is described in the GameVibe Privacy Policy.

Use of site data, analytics consent, and the Plausible script is detailed in the Cookies & site data policy.

In case of conflict between documents, the provision more protective of the user will prevail where required by law.

13. Contact and modifications

We may modify these Terms of Use to adapt them to the service or legal requirements. We will indicate the last updated date on this page.

If changes are material, we will try to provide reasonable notice (e.g. a notice on the site). Continued use after the revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, unless the law requires additional consent.
